Animal-Related

By the grant deadline of October 31, 2024, the Foundation received a twenty-one applications.

All applications were found to be eligible. After preliminary reviews, we contacted two applicants and suggested changes to increase their likelihood of funding. Both applicants modified their requests.

On November 23, 2025, the Board reviewed the submissions and approved all twenty-one funding requests.

In the context of our four funding priorities, the following approvals were made:

  1. Purchasable Goods and Equipment. Funding here covered a wide range of items including signeage (2), canine and feline dental equipment (1), refrigerator (1), security camera system (1), outdoor enclosure for feral cats (1), air conditioning (1), veterinary equipment (2), outdoor drinking fountain for dogs in park (1), four large breed kennels (1), office furniture (1), lead poisoning detection equipment (1).
  2. Veterinarian Services. Many requests for spay/neuter (and related services), microchips, emergency medical services, and full panel blood workups (8).
  3. Building Repair and/or Code Compliance. Flooring replacement (3) (code compliance).
  4. Special Needs. multiple needs (1).

Total funding approved for animal-related causes:  $42,515.33, a record high for the Foundation.

Non-Animal Related

The Foundation also funded non-animal related initiatives for an additional $6,000.00.

Total Giving

The total funding granted by The LeBel Foundation during 2025 was $48,300.55, a record high.

This brings the total funding by The LeBel Foundation since its inception in 2021 to $148,696.20.
